THIS SPRING, CHANGE A LIFE. Walk, run, or push a stroller with your friends at Covenant Life Church to benefit World Vision's annual Global 6K for water. Join thousands of people across the globe to bring life-changing clean water and fullness of life to children in communities around the world.

We will meet at Covenant Life Church on Saturday, May 22 at 9 a.m. Our planned route takes us along the boardwalk to the pier and back. Not comfortable being part of a group yet? Then join with others around the world—right from your own home or neighborhood—to walk or run 6K. No matter where or how you move your feet—in your house, at a park, or through your neighborhood, you’ll change lives by bringing clean water to those who need it most.

The global water crisis affects millions of kids’ and women’s lives in the developing world. People without access to clean water have to walk an average of 6 kilometers (that’s a little over 3.7 miles) every day to get clean water for all their basic needs—cooking, cleaning, drinking.

Now more than ever, clean water is essential to protect vulnerable children and families. It would be hard to wash your hands if you didn’t have clean water, right? Yet that’s exactly what millions of people around the world face. This pandemic has taught us all the importance of handwashing for protection against diseases like COVID-19. Every child deserves clean water to drink—and clean water for handwashing to help keep them healthy.

Why $50? Every registration fee of $50 ($25 for children) provides lasting clean water to a child, like the child on your race bib, through World Vision water projects. These projects provide clean water to drink, wash hands, and so much more!
